Operation Christmas Child

Each year, VFF participates in Operation Christmas Child. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

November 17th is the deadline to drop your completed boxes off at the church.

Packing Shoeboxes

Packing shoeboxes is a fun activity for families to complete together. Simply grab a shoebox, choose if you want to pack a box for a boy or a girl, and select the age group (2-4, 5-9, 10-14). Then fill the box with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and a personal note. For a list of suggested items click here.

Saturated in Prayer

We pray over each box before delivering them to the collection site. We believe that every gift that is given through this ministry will bless the child that receives it. Our prayers are that the boxes not only bless the child by meeting physical needs but also causes them to experience the love of Jesus.
